Ingredients
100 g wheat flour
500 g rye flour
5 teaspoons of baking powder
1-1 1/2 tbsp undiluted vinegar
2 tablespoons of butter
1 tbsp ground cumin
500 ml water
1/2 teaspoon salt
2-3 tbs syrup
Direction
1. Mix flour, baking powder, and salt well. Add the butter and spices.
2. Whisk syrup, vinegar, and water and pour in the flour while stirring.
3. Work the dough well and spread it into a greased, oblong, large loaf pan. Let it ferment for 1/2 hour. Toast the bread in a preheated oven at 200 C for 1 – 1 1/2 hours.
